I’m not going to admit to anything.  I don’t understand politics very well, I don’t know the inner workings of government.  I STILL don’t really understand what the difference is between right and left wing.

However…. I do notice the way the media tends to lean towards instilling a certain amount of uncertainty, even fear, upon the general public.  I have absolutely no proof, but a good gut feeling (for what it’s worth) that things are…. ok.

Sure, there were a few mistakes when it came to US mortgages, but lets put that behind us.  Continue with a level of caution, sure… but no more than you normally do.  Don’t go out and splurge, no one ever really should.  If you NEED a new car though, go out and buy it.  If you WANT a new 50″ TV….. wait until you can afford it.

After what has been a long evening of severe inebriation, I would be the WORST financial advisor, but I truly believe things will be ok as long as everyone keeps a level head and thinks about things before they dive in head first.

BBQ A-Blazin!

What’s everyone up to this weekend? The weather is so unpredictable and sporadic in Southwestern Ontario that you must take advantage of it when it’s in your favour.  The dust will be blown of my bike, the sandles might make an appearance, who knows… a pair of shorts might even be pulled out of the ’summer clothes’ section of the closet.

All I know for sure is, the BBQ will be blazing tomorrow and many beers will be consumed.  I will attempt to satisfy the wife’s craving for some outdoorsey type activities first.  31 with the humidity sounds too good to be true.  How will you be spending your April 25th?
